Leadership

One person, for now.

Varn is at the beginning. There is one founder and an open call for the next ten engineers. No fabricated team page. No invented advisory board. When the roster changes, this page will.

Axel Henriksen

Axel grew up interested in engineering. Specifically, in how aircraft work, what makes them fly, what makes them fail, and why some designs survive decades in service while others quietly vanish after a single procurement cycle.

Aerospace was the long interest. Drones became the obvious place to push on it, because drones are where the engineering problem is most alive right now, and where the gap between what an autonomous system can do and what European forces are fielding is widest.

Varn is what came out of that. A company that takes the design of autonomous machines seriously enough to do it end to end, under one roof. Hardware and software. Not subcontracted.

For now, Varn is one person. The next ten are what the company is looking for.

The next ten

Room for the people who want to build this.

The roster is going to grow. Engineers who care about real hardware, autonomy that has to work, and the seriousness of the discipline are exactly what comes next.

If you have been waiting for European defence to become serious about what you do, it is. The door is open.
